The first thing we did as part of our research was the preliminary task: this gave us a clear understanding of the 180 degree rule, match on action and shot reverse shot.
I've also analysed the 3 main techniques in detail and gave examples from our preliminary task as well as other films
I've chosen 2 prominent directors that have made sci-fi films (our chosen genre) I've given a brief description of their early life-how they became directors and what they focus on in terms of themes.
I've written about our target audience, so who our target audience is and what to expect in our opening sequence. How is the misenscene going to affect our specific age range?
I've analysed an actual script from the BBC writers room website and began improvising our actual script.
I've taken a range of shots with me and Alex and have elaborated on them.
I've also included the risk assessment: the possible risks for each setting that we're fiming in (Theatre,Science lab & outdoors)
I've mentioned the font analysis along with similar text - the aspects of font and how that's used in film posters. What outcome is it trying to foreshadow?
I've also included a 9 frame analysis on films that have the same genre but a similar theme to us and have analysed my thoughts about it.
