Locations/settings
For today's lesson, we were sent to look around the sixth form for our locations and take photos of possible places where we could shoot. We looked and took some photos, I've broken it down in terms of which scene and why the setting works with it.
Beginning scene- Theatre
We've decided that this exact location is perfect for the scene where an upper class individual confides the lower class person. This is located in the theatre underneath the staircase. This is perfect as the walls are black and slightly torn.
We've found this plant on the window sill in the science lab, we took a photo of it because the plant looks abnormal/unique and in a science lab, you expect to find items in it that're amazingly weird.
Biologist scene - Science laboratory.
We had access to some science equipment, in this case being test tubes and a holder with soap. We took a photo of this because in the video, we want the biologist to pour a toxic substance into the test tube. At that moment, the soap represented the toxic substance, that's why we've put it next to it.
Outdoor scene- convo between F.S & Dictator.
We wanted to film outdoors when the conversation between Hector and the female Sargent takes place. We were thinking of filming this scene in Finsbury park as there's concrete ground and the wind will create Pathetic fallacy, this will foreshadow the theme of our film.
