Today, I've explained the email that I've sent Alex, about the use of advanced technology in the classic Sci-fi, dystopian film The Hunger games. We've considered using holograms like they did. However, we said that it will take a lot of time to create the holograms and it's also risky because they might not come out the way we want them to.

As an alternative,I've suggested that we could use a computer chip device which could be shown on Peter (Biologist) by make up or by using other special effects. We've taken this idea into account so we're planning to go ahead with the idea now.

These are some of the images that I've sent alex and Istabraq...

During today's lesson, we've pitched our ideas to Rosie, the head of media. We spoke to her about our plot and how we plan to portray the sequence of events throughout our opening sequence. She gave us her feedback.

She wasn't keen about the idea where we zoom in and get a close up of Peter's eye- she said that it will be challenging to film. She also said that the scene with Peter looking through his binoculars (to see Hector and the female sargent talk) will also be challenging to film as it wouldn't be possible to zoom into them from quite a far distance. So we've decided to cut out that bit. Another bit she commented on was that we should show all three classes being in their environment  so that the audience can understand what position they're in. E.g - In the hunger games the poor people are segregated from the rich people and we can see by their appearance (what they wear, surroundings)

So now, we're discussing as a group on how to involve Rosie's feedback into our sequence. We're cutting out the scene with the eye and the binoculars. We also need to include a clearer shot of the three classes adapting to their environment. We're still working on our ideas.
